EF seoul

Just a small post about the school.

I don’t recommend EF to start with Korean.

Teachers are great. The school is well located, the building itself is really nice, but the method is absolutely not good.

They almost disgusted me to learn Korean.

Their lessons are indigest. You get to much informations at once that you can assimilate.

Sometimes we get Thursday even new elements and we should be able to reproduce them in the next morning for the test.

After 8 weeks there I alsmost can NOT order in a restaurant. They show us things we can’t use. A learned to count o. The 6th week !!!

It’s very confusing how they teach. Personally for the money I don’t recommend this school.

I’m even glad to go home and have a break.

Other students told me the same. They told me for other languages they are ok, like German, English in Australia etc. but not for Asian languages … yeah well too late.

But I least I met very nice people at school.

This is also something, except at school I almost don’t have option to practice Korean.

Most of the family, not only mine, are never home. When you try in the street or restaurant they speak so fast that it’s impossible to understand something.

It’s a shame because I leave Seoul and have the feeling I learned almost nothing.

But I probably will come back, differently.

I’ll come back and take privat classes, and maybe with an Organisation or project. So I will be with locals and will have connections.
